Privacy Notice

This notice explains how IPbarrier handles personal data collected through the closed-beta waitlist.

Who is responsible

IPbarrier, operated through davidgg.es, is the controller for the personal data collected through this website. This notice applies only to the waitlist and this website, not to any future IPbarrier product service.

What we collect

When you join the waitlist, we collect your email address and, if you choose to provide it, a short description of what you are protecting. We do not use advertising or analytics cookies on this site.

Why we use it

We use this information to manage the closed-beta waitlist, prioritise relevant early-access invitations, and notify you when IPbarrier becomes available. Our lawful basis is your consent, which you give by submitting the form. You can withdraw consent at any time using the unsubscribe link in an update.

How the waitlist is delivered

Waitlist submissions are processed by Buttondown, our email and subscriber-management provider. Buttondown processes the data on our behalf to operate the waitlist. Please review Buttondown’s privacy information for its processing practices.

Retention

We keep waitlist information only while the closed beta is being operated and for a reasonable period afterwards to send the promised availability update. You may unsubscribe at any time.

Your rights

Where applicable under EU data-protection law, you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction, or portability of your personal data, and you may object to certain processing. You may also lodge a complaint with your local data-protection authority.

Changes

We may update this notice as the service develops. The latest version will always be published on this page.
